Hello dear friends,

How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the first week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S27/W1, organized by the Honorable teacher @suboohi ma'am. She has brought us a delicious dessert, whose name is "Desserts From Grain". I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Sweets are essential to making any special occasion successful and festive. I will show you some examples of why sweets are important for any occasion. For example-
Without sweets or desserts, any event. Especially, we can talk about weddings and birthday ceremony. Is a birthday celebration complete without a cake? Or the joy of a wedding day is not complete without sweets.
Sweets make people's memories unforgettable. This is why Eid starts in the morning with sweets, various gifts are given with sweets on Christmas Day, and the first day of the year is not enjoyable without sweets.
Sweets or desserts bring completeness to the meal. That is why the end of the meal is announced with desserts.

Dessert is a food that we all love to eat. After the meal, dessert plays an important role in completing the meal, including serving the guests. Respected teacher @suboohi has come up with a wonderful challenge on dessert. Today she has presented a dessert made from grains.
Dessert made from grains is a very tasty and nutritious food. Now, as per the instructions given by the respected teacher, I will make a dessert. The teacher has presented two options. I have chosen the first option from now on. That is, I will make Baisan ki Barfi or Gram Flour Delight. Before starting the recipe, I am presenting its ingredients,

Ingredients for making appetizer:-

Besan2 cups
Ghee100 grams
Soybean oil4 tablespoons
Sugar2 cups
Water1 cup
Cardamom4 nos
Milk4 tablespoons
Pistachio nuts8-10 pieces
Wood nuts15-20 pieces
Zarda color (orange)2 pinches

Tutorial of the Desserts:-

🎂Step:-01:-

  • To start making Baisan ki Barfi or Gram flour Delight, first I take 2 cups of gram flour in a bowl.
  • Now I add 4 tablespoons of soybean flour to the gram flour. And mix it with the gram flour.
  • Due to the oil content, there may be some lumps in the gram flour, so you have to rub it with your hands and mix it. I mix it for quite some time.

🎂Step:-02:-

  • Now I add 4 spoons of powdered milk to the gram flour mixture and mix it well.

  • After checking well, I make sure that there are no more lumps, then I strain the mixed gram flour through a sieve.

🎂Step:-04:-

  • Now I put a pan on the stove. I roast the gram flour on medium heat. I roast it on the stove for 5-7 minutes, till it turns light yellow to golden in color. At one stage, a nice aroma will come out of the gram flour. Then I take the pan off the stove.

🎂Step:-05:-

  • Now I put another pan on the stove. In the pan, I put 2 cups of sugar,
  • Now I add 1 cup of water to the pan.

  • At this stage, I add 2 pinches of zarda color to the pan. And I crush 4 cardamoms a little.

🎂Step:-07:-

  • I keep putting all the items in the stove. At the same time, I keep stirring with a spoon so that the sugar syrup does not stick to the inside of the pan. I keep an eye on the thickness of the semolina. The semolina should be of such a thickness that it has a sticky feel to it. I check it with my two fingers and check the stickiness, when I am satisfied that the semolina is nice and smooth, I take it off the stove.

🎂Step:-08:-

  • Now I prepare a pan where I will place the Baisan ki Barfi or Gram flour Delight in the final stage.
  • I put a layer of ghee in a bowl. I mix it well with a brush, then I chop the almonds and pistachios and sprinkle some inside the pan.

🎂Step:-09:-
Now I put the fried gram flour mixture back in the pan.
I add the sugar syrup to the mixture.
I add 100 grams of ghee to the mixture.
Once all the items are placed, I put the pan on the stove.
I keep on stirring the mixture continuously. Until it feels dry. After about 15-20 minutes of stirring, when I feel it is time to remove it, I remove the mixture and place it in the previously prepared bowl.

  • I give some time for the Gram flour Delight to cool down. Then I pour it into a tray.

  • I put the remaining pieces of almonds and pistachios inside the barfi.

  • Now I cut the barfi into small pieces with the help of a knife and give it a light coating of ghee with the help of a brush.
