SLC-S25 week 4||Chickpeas salad 🥗||

How are you friends welcome to my blog I am @sualeha from pakistan,love to share my participation post in SLC season 25 in week 4 with great enthusiasm in salads challenge course ,first of all I thanks to our teachers @dasudi and @lirvic both doing fantastic work ,we all wish to learn easy and healthy recipes of salad from the course ,in fourth week also very good with the chickpeas salad 🥗 recipe with tips and brief descriptions about health benefits of this salad ,in my country we added chickpea in different form in our cousin like curry ,salad and evening snacks and theost popular street food called Chana chat main ingredient is chickpeas.So guys with out odo let's move on the recipe of salad with complete method along with pictures.
The chickpeas salad is very popular and healthy salad ,my whole family liked it,for that I boiled the chickpeas at home and refrigerates and use whenever I need infact it's very time saving and right way for making salad with chickpeas.

How I made
The chickpeas salad not only quickly done recipe also very healthy and delicious 😋 🤤,I made many time time salad with my daily menu.So guys let's share below the step.by step making procedure of salad I hope you all are being with me till end..
- Step :1
I began my salad with first and very important step that,s clean all veggies and ingredients from planty of water then put in strainer , before that bought good quality fresh ingredients for market for today's salad .I cutted the cucumber in small chunks in a bowl .

Now added all cucumber pieces , green bells and tomato in the bowl and incorporated.
- Step :2
Now added already boiled chicken chunks instead of tona cane and onion chopped in it .Due to chicken it's become more healthy full of protein and tasty 😋.

- Step :3
Now added Star ingredients that is boiled chickpeas in a bowl.I soaked chickpeas over night and boiled in the morning with salt.The results were super soft and fluffy increased in double in size .

- Step :4
Now I sprinkle salt, black pepper in it and mixed well by septulla,the powder spices give yummy aroma and Tampting flavor as we all wanted in our salad 🥗.

Added honey and vinegar in it for Tampting flavor of salad.my kids never liked the too much sweetness in salad so I usually never skipped it.

Incorporated all ingredients very well by spatula.Tje beautiful multi coloured red , green,white , yellow colours appearing every once eyes

Added fresh parsley fine chopped few leaves on top.The fresh green colour added more value to salad.
Final presentation of my salad
It's done the healthy and delicious salad 🥗 ,I made usually in holy month Ramadan for iftar meal.,The light and refreshing taste wines every once heart 💗,the beautiful colours of ingredients attract and yummy taste never stop for eating,the refreshing and multi coloured salad finished in few minutes 😊😊.

Well it's very popular salad in Pakistan in different parties as a snacks I made specifically in Ramzan kareen we took fast whole month ,after fast I made daily this salad I also added potatoes boiled and crunchy chips on it before eating ,the chat masala also added iny salad ,the main ingredient is youhgat in my chickpea salad also but the taste of this also also very awesome and resumable and familiar for me.The adding if chicken increased it's healthy combination.
These ingredients offer numerous health benefits:
- Chickpeas
Chickpeas are an excellent source of plant-based protein that's why high in protein.its also rich in fiber content good for digestion,also have minerals, potassium,zinc.
- Cucumber
Due to high amount of water in cucumber making them refreshing and hydrating.Havung low calories levels so excellent for weight loss Cucumbers some called it is a a low-calorie snack ,it's help protect against cell damage because loaded with antioxidants
- Bell Pepper
It's had high amount of vitamin C. peppers are an excellent source of vitamin C ,Rich in antioxidants Bell peppers contain antioxidants .
- Onion
Rich in fiber Onions support digestive health.
Antibacterial properties .Onions have antibacterial properties help lower cholesterol and blood pressure.

Well this salad recipe is completely delicious and refreshing in taste but I also added some creativity for more tampting flavor according to my family.In infused chat masala and crunchy potato chips for crunchy touch in salad ,you can also add boiled potatoes in it .For spicy punch you can also incorporate few amount of red crushed chilli in the chickpeas salad.The creamy youhgat also good option for this salad on my recommendation please infused these ingredients for more tempting and fresh flavour in the salad .
