Hello everyone, I hope you all are fine. Today I am taking part in the Steemit engagement challenge by @dasudi; she made fruit chaat, and to be honest, it is one of my favorite things to eat as a healthy snack. In Ramadan, the whole month that one dish I never skip was fruit chaat; it is refreshing and comforting to eat after a whole day of fasting. Today I am sharing with you all a very tasty, refreshing, and healthy fruit chaat recipe that not only kids will love but also adults will enjoy. When you feel like eating something light, cool, and nutritious in the summer season, this fruit chaat is the best choice. I made this recipe at home, and I am sharing it with you with pictures. Ingredients I used

First and foremost, I washed all the fruits thoroughly to remove all dirt and pesticides from the surface. I usually soak the strawberries in water with some salt and baking soda to get rid of all dirt and microorganisms.

Now I cut all the fruits in small cubes; I did not have the cutter, otherwise this task would have become easier. I chopped apples, removed the seeds from the watermelon and cut it, cut the strawberries and pears, peeled the oranges, removed the seeds and cut them, and also chopped pineapple and peach.

I mixed all the fruits in a large bowl and also squeezed 2 oranges to make the taste of fruit chaat even better. I added chaat masala and peanuts. Then I mixed it again. In a serving bowl I added prepared fruit chaat and then added yogurt and decorated it with dates and concentrated sweet syrup (named rooh afza in Pakistan) for extra sweetness and flavor.

Our delicious and refreshing fruit chaat is ready to eat; for better taste, I put it in my fridge. It was yummy, and my husband loved it.

2 - What was your favorite fruit you included in the salad? Did you like the resulting flavor combination? What health benefits do you think your fruit salad provides?

My favorite fruit in the salad is orange; I like the sweet and sour taste of it. It gives freshness to the fruit chaat. I really like the flavor of fruit chaat because of the orange juice I added; it enhanced the taste of the chaat. I also like to add lemon juice in it sometimes.

I really liked the resulting flavor with the dressing and peanuts and dates that I added.

This fruit salad has many health benefits. It contains vitamins A, C, and B6, which strengthen the immunity. It has more fiber, which helps in digestion. Curds improve stomach health, and peanuts provide protein and healthy fat, which provides energy. This fruit salad is a very good and healthy choice to eat in the summer season and also while fasting.
