SLC-S25/W5 | Biscuit Pudding
Welcome to my blog and to the week five of this leaning challenge. I hope everyone is doing well.
Today I am happy to present to you all my week five task which is preparing biscuit pudding. I thank our dear challenger @m-fdo for a wonderful way she breaks down the steps to preparing this biscuit pudding which makes it easy for me to follow.
Ingredients for the biscuit pudding
- Biscuits 200 grams
- Butter 50 grams
- Sugar 70 gram
- Cocoa Powder 25 grams
- Milk Powder 3 teaspoon
- Water 100ml
- Vanilla 1 teaspoon
- Chocolate 50 grams
- Cashew nut 30 grams
Preparation in steps
Step 1
First of all I used a clean bowl and then added the biscuits to that bowl. I broke the biscuits into small pieces. I break all the biscuits into small pieces and added them to the bowl.
Step 2
This is a step where I started preparing the dessert, I used a pot that can be kept on the stove and then added all the dry ingredients to that pot and mixed them.
Step 3
In this step I added water to the container containing the ingredients. After adding the required amount of water, I mix them well and keep them on the stove. Keep them on the stove like that with a very low heat and after a while when the mixture started boiling, I added butter and vanilla, mix them very well and remove from the stove. In this way, I successfully completed the first mixture.

Step 4
I allowed the mixture to cool down very well. After letting the mixture cool down, I added the biscuits little by little. After adding the biscuits in that way, and when it becomes a sticky mixture, I added it to a container for the mixture to set.
Step 5
At this point was when I press the mixture into that tray. So I press it down like this and keep it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes for a better result. When the mixture was in the refrigerator, I double-boil the chocolate and melt it very well. This I did using a separate bowl for double boiling the chocolate.

Step 6
At this step, I prepared the filling for the biscuit pudding. So after the mixture has cool down very well, I added the chocolate on top of the biscuit like this. I make sure I added all in a very neat pattern.

Step 7
Finally, I decorated the biscuit pudding by adding some cashew nuts on top of it to enhance the appearance of the biscuit pudding.

First of all I started enjoying this delicious biscuit pudding alone and as I couldn't keep the news of it sweetness to myself, I gave it to my neighbour who has a salmon shop next to me and she was wow 😳! Where did you learnt this?.
She confess that she has never tasted pudding as sweet as mine and wishes that I should teach her how to prepare it.
She said I must have learnt it in catering school but I told her I didn't learn it from any catering school that I learnt it from steemit and that it is also my first time of preparing this pudding and tasting it.
She said steemit is really a learning platform and that is true because this platform has almost taught me every thing that I never knew before.
I remain some for my children and when the return from school they all enjoyed it.
My first daughter started praising me after having her first bite. She said "mummy, do you know you are a good mother? You always prepared delicious meal for us and care for us" and my second daughter added ""mummy your food is always the best and your biscuit pudding is awesome". I was so happy and promise to do more.
