Steemit Engagement Challenge Week # 3 || Defend The Statements || As A Critical thinkers | by @ripon0630
Welcome everyone. This is the third week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge. I try my best to participate in all the challenges. Today's challenge is a lot more interesting and a lot more defending. Thanks to Steemit Pakistan for giving us such a beautiful challenge.
One of the three topics must be mandatory for everyone. Along with that one topic I will discuss two more topics below. I really like the topics in this contest so I invite some of my close friends @msharif @ponpase @gorllara to participate in this contest. The three topics I have selected to participate in the contest are:
- A Woman's Place is in the Kitchen.
- Votes Are Not Guaranteed- SC01
- Punishment never has a Good Effect.
A Woman's Place is in the Kitchen:
Cooking is for everyone. There is no discrimination in cooking. One thing we have learned from previous eras is that cooking is only for girls. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT ain't for me either. But this is not at all appropriate for the present generation. Because in the present generation there is no difference between boys and girls. In the past, Boys and Girls were discriminated against. Back then housework was mostly imposed on girls only. And to put it bluntly, only one girl was assigned to cook. But now the era has changed, people have changed, people's thinking has changed.
Girls are no longer just confined to the kitchen. They are also participating in all the activities along with the boys. The boys can cook now. At present boys have to stay out of the house for various tasks. Many boys now stay in hostels for study while many boys stay far away from home for work/job. Then it is seen that the boys cook for themselves. So we should not discriminate against cooking. Cooking is for both boys and girls. There is no discrimination in this case.
Votes Are Not Guaranteed- SC01:
Steemcurator01 votes are not guaranteed, because they are human beings like us, they are not robots. Usually we see that the steemcurators cannot support in all our posts. Many times we get frustrated when we don't get support. We think that all our posts should be supported. But we forget that they are humans, not robots. If we spend much time writing a post then how do curators read thousands of users so many posts? There is a limit to their voting. I noticed that whenever we write quality posts, we get support. This means that those who have been successful on Steemit have worked behind the scenes with their quality content.
We should spend time on content without wasting time on voting. Because your core is your content. If you write a good post, you will definitely get support. In addition, you have to follow some rules given by the curator. If you follow all the rules and write good quality posts then you will definitely get support. We all want support but we don't care about the quality of the post. So first of all we have to pay attention to the quality of the post.
Punishment Never has a Good Effect
People made mistakes. People will make mistakes because it is human instinct to make mistakes. But if someon make a mistake, the punishment you have to pay is a completely wrong step. We often get angry at people and punish them. When we make a small mistake we get angry and get punished. If we give punishment, we think that punishment is being given for the mistakes, maybe in the future, they will not make mistakes again. But as a result of punishment, many people suffer from inferiority complex. Many times they lose their morale and cannot move forward. So we should find an alternative method without punishment. Because many times without any reason we hurt people's minds.
You will see that when each other is punished in the house, many times the family breaks up. Going to do good through punishment often turns out to be bad. So we should blame someone for his mistakes. Convince him not to repeat the mistake he had made. We need to make sure that the person we are punishing, whether small or large, is not punished in a way that hurts his or her feelings. With punishment, you may be able to solve the problem for a while, but the person being punished may remember your punishment for a lifetime. So we should not go to punishment and solve the problem in an alternative way.
Thank you for taking part in the challenge. You didn't defend, "A woman's place is in the kitchen" statement. It's a controversial statement and doesn't go with this generation in any case but the contest asks you to bring forth your inner critique and write against your actual perspective. (:
Don't forget to interact with other contest participants by commenting and upvoting their posts.
