RE: The Date I Discovered Steemit was the Same Date I Last Posted on Facebook (Could it be a coincidence?)

The thing with Facebook and similar social media channels is that they're somehow a little superficial - no offense to anyone - but that's how I generally feel. There's more acceptance of classy pictures and check ins and memes than there is of genuine heartfelt ideas, experiences and writing.

What it boils down to I guess is the pure essence of your own intention of following a specific site, whether it's your passion or a way to pass time. Steem is incredibly supportive and encouraging to everyone in the most amazing of ways. People here are honest and true, and ever since I've joined I've learned so much, not just about people from all over the globe, but about my own self, and it's oddly liberating. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone felt this way about Steem, and forgot Facebook etc. after joining here.

Yes dear, great contribution you have here. What you want will depend on the platform that best favour you, but generally steemit makes more sense in time of return on your time investment than any social media platform currently existing

Definitely. Both in monetary and personal terms.
