RE: A Sunday Evening Update: 3 New Ideas...

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

I tried a quest and made .1 completion. Others with much more power finished their quests, no problem, and earn the quest reward. Isn't this just a rehash of how steemit tends to trickle most of the money towards the highest earners? That's the only thing stopping me from sponsoring further. I don't want to just hand my profits over to the higher profiteers. And I would like to see the bot owner making more profits, but maybe that will happen easier when steem value goes up.

Anyway, I'm having more fun playing the game, and earning rewards in the background, than playing the game strategy in order to win rewards. I don't want to take it that seriously, and I don't want other players getting mad at me for roleplaying diplomacy in a way that might harm their earnings. Ever played RISK? Yikes, I'd had friends who wanted to murder me at the end because I would set up secret alliances which they argued were against the rules, yadda yadda. It's just a game, but it is fun to win too.

I hope I don't die in this game due to a random number generation.

Well, it's hard to get killed here, you'd have to go on dangerous quests alone to do it, kinda like @underground did.

Plus, people who delegate more have advantages of course, but that is a rewarding mechanism to grow the bot. Having said that, people who play their cards right can also make their way towards the top as someone can't possibly specialize in every area of the game, some unlocks make others in other areas more expensive or even unnatainable.

And of course I'd also like to see more income to the bot owner :P
