RE: This steemit feature just stressed me out!
Maybe that was the destruction of the Calibrae project
the 3 accounts:
Are all flagged ...
Did Loki throw in the towel and surrender?
I am off steemit for the rest of today.
When I return I hope senior steemians and others will have posted some explanation and caution for all steemit users.
From my perspective this is a steemit wound.
L0k1 is being flagged by @berniesanders and others, due to his saltiness about Steemit. When you resteem his posts, you draw flags because they are silencing his dissent, and because they reckon he is trying to suck users out of Steemit to Calibrae.
I think @nogalert is @berniesanders, who also has a longstanding issue with @n0gan0o (sp?), and there are others involved. I think I saw a flag from @sneak too, IIRC.
Last I knew he was focusing on coding Calibrae, and avoiding social media so he can get work done. I am sure he is quite motivated to continue the work he is doing on the fork.
Hi @valued-customer Ha-ha, yes Loki use salty language and is passionate about his cause.
I forgot to mention @sneak because he also flagged a loki post, but about @berniesanders and the many oter alias' that are from steemit pre-miners and whale accounts I know nothing...
Which is why I ask seasoned steemians to share facts about what is happening and why.
Before I even knew about the existence of Calibrae and the steemit fork, I noted and wrote the OPEN LETTER to Ned Scott and others about the "potential" abuse of Flagging.
Their silence spoke volumes, thn I begged a few programmers to comment in hopes I would get their point of view and two seasoned steemians were kind enough to reply,
see Open Letter To Steem and EOS Programmers and Application developers and the comments.
Anyway fast forward to yesterday:
So I am guessing Loki threw in the towel - for sure his last steemit posts were very angry with foul-language tags.
Loki hasn't posted a reason on his github calibrae project account, the github commentary would be the definitive response from Loki - I'm still waiting...
My questions remain unanswered and I want Whales and Loki to share what they know:
Why the whales are doing this and is this the end of the calibrae steemit fork?
For those who were concerned (as I was), Loki wrote me a message, where he said:
Yes, that was brief and cryptic, but I gatherLoki is okay and in the real world he is active.
Where that leaves Calibrae and the steemit fork?
I don't know.

The calibrae account is basically un-usable and comatose.

I personally viewed L0k1 state he was going into 'code mode' for the duration, several days at least.
I am confident he continues to code.
I cannot predict what will come of Calibrae, but I believe L0k1 is all in, and running on pure fury. Ninja assassins might be able to stop him. Might.
He stated he was going to avoid social media, because it distracts him. Keep checking the github, and I'm sure you'll soon see some kind of progress report.
Caveat: I am not l0k1, don't speak for him, am not responsible for what he is, or is not doing, and can only state my expectations about what he is doing, which is coding with all 20 digits at this very moment.
Edit: given his level of motivation, he may be using 21 digits...
@valued-customer I appreciate your optimism, but this looks very bad for the Calibrae project.
I am not optimistic at all. I am, however, privy to the exact statements I relate.
I do not expect to hear from him for days, because he is coding furiously.
Whether the Calibrae project looks bad or not, as far as I can tell, he is doing exactly what he said he would, and the lack of posts is evidence of that - not that he has given up.
He has received funding for the project, other developers are assisting, and much else is ongoing while he is writing code. Or, at least that's what I have read in conversations with funders, developers, and @l0k1 himself.
I'm merely reporting on what I saw, without a great deal of exaggeration.
L0k1 is salty, as you know, and he is probably emotionally unstable, but I do not doubt he can write code, nor that he is highly motivated to accomplish Calibrae. YMMV.
We'll know in a few days, at most.
@valued-customer Thanks that is good to hear, all of this is new to me.
Again, thank you!
Social media is indeed distracting him LOL.
He has posted on Reddit, and been accused of exactly emotional instability. Here is a snippet of his response
I heartily LOL'ed at this XD
Hmm... I would like to have a house party inviting you George Carlin, Loki and others and observe how George Carlin and Loki trade barbs and caustic humor.
The point is valid and caustic - I don't watch TV either, but I've never thrown it in the face of others.
