Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 17/8/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Aug 2025- Hello Steem supporters, managed to get out the post today likely because I might even be feeling a tiny bit better. Like I said previously it's been many days now from when I last felt there was any improvement at all. The past 3 days I kept thinking "this is it I managed to get a bit better" but it seems to never arrive. Something always happens to make it a day of being no better from where I was previously. Like today I was feeling a little more confident that it might just happen but this headache as struck and that just doesn't let me say "I'm better today". It also scares me because it was the beginning of a headache "just like this one" that as sent me packing into the state in which I find myself now mostly debilitated. And it's tough for me to handle getting any worse again and so when this happens it often starts sending my body into a panic which in turn makes me worse. And unfortunately getting much rest doesn't seem to do much for combating this horrid chest infection. Thankfully at least my heart felt a lot better today, the fatigue was still very strong forcing me to rest. I'm not going to deny that the mostly constant feeling of fatigue makes getting anything done in the day difficult. Strangely even in pain time passes by fast in what feels like very sort days. At the moment I got a bunch of paper notes stuck everywhere on some must-do things, but I'm struggling to get even these done argh. It makes me so mad that I have to look into all this medical stuff myself rather than leaving it in the hands of so called professionals who are suppose to know best how to give you the so called "right and best" treatment. But I refuse to do this not only because they have shown me their lack of knowledge but because mistakes have already been made that could of saved me a lot of time and just the knowledge that the best treatment hasn't been given but instead simply guess work. Would it not be easier and quicker plus cost effective to understand the problem first then apply the treatment!? With all this nonsense I keep forgetting to mention that the cat I nicknamed the alarm clock is still alive and well. I was so worried about him but when I was even more poorly he made me a visit for 3 consecutive days. My friends say he turned up to show me he was ok and the check on me, haha perhaps they were right. It seems like the medical world as turned very digital and now doctors hide behind many layers. It's now down to individuals to set-up online accounts even to get their tests done. So they direct you to making your appointments from your home, this now involves setting up various accounts and agreeing for all these cooperation's to have excess to your medical and digital information. When you think about it this it's a gateway we must cross and submit to for supposedly reaching better care, but not without the cooperation's bagging and tagging you first. It's all very smart but still rather poor in it actually being of any real use to finding you the care needed, securing those "doctor appointments" or supposedly being "the quickest way" as they like to claim. It would honestly be much faster to just sort the things out in the moment and give people the choice on what is fastest and most convenient way for them at the time. But how do I know this for sure.. because it worked perfectly fine if not better in the past when there was none of this online nonsense. This for the older generation is a complete nightmare and it's no wonder they are struggling to get the care they need. And honestly I'm already tired of all this and I'm likely still in the early stages of this battle. I'm struggling to understand this system that is suppose to be there to help you, and care for you in a time of need.
