Drink Photoshare 8/6/2025

Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Today 8/6/2025 I share this capture.

I went to sleep under the usual late hour last night, this as become more consistent lately. Not out of choice or will power but because of all these early morning work shifts that I get now. It's clearly forced me to get a earlier bed time, but for me getting the right amount of sleep needed is still difficult. This is mostly because I'm stubborn, and want to fit everything in during the day, and I guess for me it's just not possible. Still I went to sleep later than I wanted because I spent too long with friends, however I received some birthday cake as a reward haha. Falling asleep was not a problem, I was very tired from work and visiting my friends, however I thought the stress may cause me some problems. The weather this morning was light, the sky was partly cloudy, it was a nice looking morning, temperature wise it was a little chilly. Still if anybody as any solutions to produce heat without the high costs let me know as I could use that money saved to instead get more Steem. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, this happens now when I'm off from work. It was difficult to get out of bed, but only because I wanted to get more rest after missing out during the week and seeing friends. With a late start I was glad I didn't have work to be in for today, but more so I could rest, which means that this was a good opportunity to get on with some chores and other things. There was no plans to meet up with friends later because I had only seen them yesterday and really need the rest. Meeting as been a little more difficult lately because my friends are having some major house repairs done. And so we want to give the workmen their maximum time so that my friends can be comfortable again quickly. I got all the pictures out of my phone and on to the computer, this is incase the battery on the phone stops working. Firstly I deleted all the pictures I didn't like. But now it's the task of organising them somewhat, but that will be a job for when I have the time to spare, but I try and get a few photos done each day. Looking into when the next big weekend event will be I was able to get the exact dates and sent them to my work, now I wait to see if this gets approved. With the Steem price being low it's been a great opportunity to hunt some down, while this was possible today and rather quick, it still worked out more expensive than I expected due to other coins going up in price. I managed to get a lot done for the next online get together with friends, while it was a more than I expected amount done it was on the wrong places of interest, regardless it all still helps. After managing 2 days in a row doing my small work-outs I have now missed it 7 times. I don't think I pushed myself to the point it might hurt but we will see. The previous time I pushed it again and I started to feel the effects of it, but honestly I been enjoying getting them done again. After I went for dinner, lastly I started to prepare to settle in for the night. The TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers part of the condenser project to fix the wrong display numbers. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Hope you have a good day or night and I will see you on the next Steemit post.

Today's Picture

This was captured still during the very beginning of summer, but I can have a warm drink at anytime during the year. Also I notice that it's true for me a hot drink can strangely cure and desire to keep drinking so much during the warmer months.

This is at work during a break, I was lucky enough to still find myself a chocolate treat which I believe are those nice Kipling cakes.

It was a wonderful moment to take a break and enjoy a warm drink with a tasty treat, enough so I captured the brief occasion.
Initially going here with a black and white photo with hope of some interesting contrasts of the already black and white colours presented.
With the example of the mug being white and the chocolate being a light brown.
What also interested me and what I hoped for to get the most effect from was the marble pattern of the table, and so I was curious of the results.
With this angle I feel there is almost something slightly abstract about the whole capture, likely much less noticeable with any of it's colour.
