Neither did I, probably it's because the heat is not typical here and so they are not used to it while in other places perhaps they can handle the heat a little better. It's been about 33c here when it affects the cats behaviour. We also try to help them with water this is normally just water on our hands, cloth or sponge, usually like this they are more receptive to the idea. Thank you @soulsdetour sometimes such distractions can make us feel better even if just temporarily.
