I will support your mission to promote Steemit. However I find the the whole advertising of Steemit a bit plunt. With blog get paid, surf get paid etc. A higher purpose could be more appealing. Realize your dreams, etc. with the help of a residual income .....

I understand what you mean. Of course this is the idea I support too.
I myself would love it to happen to me myself but at the moment I try not to expect too much from Steemit.
I just stick to what I like to do: sharing science on Steemit and sharing some personal opinions. What comes out of it then comes out :-)
