RE: Steemit: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, So Far

which is that when attempting to upload material via the associated Dtube, it becomes a hassle

Styx I highly recomend you look at the Dlive dapp over Dtube. Dtube is underpeforming and it even deletes you videos after a month has gone by.

Again there's only one issue here; for less tech-literate individuals who are used to more simplistic sites, the rather opaque notion of steem dollars, blockchains, and so forth, is elusive. Even for myself, I admit, it's a bit much, to the point where I am probably ignoring some site functions in favor of merely uploading and sometimes interacting with content.

Get ready because shits going to get a lot more ugly very soon.

Now that EOS is live and we will be looking at direct blockchain based competitors. Its going to result in a dapps explosion which will be fuck all hard to explain to outsiders but its going to be difficulty to ignore. This is going to be huge for content creators though.

The easiest explanation. Is that crypto is molding into being application based. So its not just coins anymore. Now its moving to social media and god knows what else. I will be personally moving gaming into this direction as well if I can.

I recently released a video on Dlive explaining my thoughts on what a dapp is and even that doesn't fully explain the full implications of the topic.

Here is the video :
