The word press plugin idea is going to be a little more tricky then people think. Aye it would have to be compatible with current editor they use and would have to be able to auto convert into the form of markdown steemit uses.
Most people aren't just going to change their current format just so they can also post on steemit. One thing people don't like is a hassle when doing things.
Though i believe the Instagram idea is a pretty cool idea since its a pretty basic concept.
