I believe that steemit can be used for positive and negative purposes and it will be up to us as a community to decide which of these two qualities are allowed to become more prevalent. It is users like yourself and those you describe in your post who have the integrity to stand together and determine the path of the platform who bare the responsibility of ensuring that positivity triumphs over negativity.

The world outside of steemit has already been corrupted beyond recognition and has become what it was always intended to become by those who wield the power over the ignorant masses but if there are similar intentions for steemit then they have not yet been realised and we still have the opportunity to steer the platform along the path of our choosing as long as we have the courage to speak out and promote positive action as you have.
