Yeah, there are different ways you could go about doing it. Of course its a good idea to connect with more people, try searching for (and inviting new) sci-fi and fantasy fans.

If you have any stories written, you could serialize something, give us really small pieces every 2 or 3 days, like release a chapter over the course of a month at first, slowly introducing us to the world. Each one could have a sketch of a character or world, not necessarily a really perfect one, maybe just a rough draft for the time being, or maybe you can use the same one every time so we can identify that it's part of the same chapter or short story . I know I am really busy and focused on other things but I would love to find time to learn about the world you are creating, so shorter is good. I like what you did with your suicidal fairy character. I think if you keep it up with posts like this you'll be able to develop your characters and story while at the same time building more interest. It would be cool to see a few posts like this that are serialized and numbered in order though! It doesn't even have to be from the main story, just side stories to introduce the characters!
