How is Blurt progressing?

Please leave your thoughts and comments below.

I'll go first.

Personally I believe Blurt is heading in the right direction. There are a few things that I am looking at to get a pulse on the progress of the Blurt Blockchain.

  • One: I like the trending page far more than a year ago. We have thoughtful truth related information hitting the trending page often. Which is key as Blurt's main selling point is no down-vote which means your up-vote and money attached to it can not be erased by others, which also removes visibility of the post ie. censorship.

There are no infighting posts littered about as everyone seems to get along and it's clearly a bad look for the platform for any newcomer or investor interested in Blurt.

Also the non-truther related posts like travel, health, personal blogs, food, and so on are of pretty good quality, well written and fairly interesting. Also there seems to be a steady stream of Blurt related up-dates and development posts hitting the trending list as well which show the wheels are in motion, which is what any investor would like to see.

Furthermore the non-English posts which are mostly out of Asia and made to receive votes based on large investment to up-vote by delegation accounts seem to rank lower than ever. I'm not against these accounts as they are investors who hold a lot of blurt in order to get a return on investment. Unfortunately it can clog up the list of quality posts being shown to the public on the tending page.

As a side note, Blurt is more than a community, or a space to blog, it's a financial instrument where one comes to BUY the product (https://www.probit.com/en-us/) and get a return on investment; and there are many ways of doing so.

  • Two: A highly improved witness list and gelling of the management of the blockchain. I do believe at this current time we have the best list of block producers/witnesses/leaders of the platform. The addition of @kencode aka @agorise as the top witness has been a major boost to the platform. He has incredible skills and connections, and has used his Peerhub community and blurt.media to simply make blurt better and more publicized in many ways.

Also a major developement not to be overlooked is @khrom's easy sign up system via word of mouth and a coupon code. Just reach out to him and he'll happily give you a coupon code for simple and easy sign up of a friend or acquaintance. I recently signed a friend up with this new innovation and it was very simple and well received. This to me is a huge advancement to the platform. Well done @khrom.

Also a quick shout out to @saboin for keeping things up and running with lots of unappreciated work done in the background since inception July 4th 2020. Another mention of great accomplishment is @outofthematrix for his never ending positivity and support of the community running the @curationcoconut account. Many hours of manual curation should not go unappreciated and he's done a fantastic job.

  • Three: Recent additions of high quality bloggers. Since I don't keep a close eye on everything I'll share a few that did catch my attention recently @vscampbell which you can see his intro post here https://blurt.blog/introduceyourself/@vscampbell/7r1row-introducing-myself-to-blurt-communities. @unklebonehead, a highly skilled blogger and pod-caster doing a live radio-cast listened to by many outside of the Blurt echo-chamber is a fantastic addition to the platform. Also my personal favorite who shares great information and non-normie ideas @paradigmprospect who's blog is certainly worth having a look at.

These are just to name a few and it seems like there are new high quality members of the platform popping up all the time now.

  • Four: The price of Blurt. If you go back about two years ago the price of Blurt has stopped going down, depending on the exact date you could even say the price has gone up. Meanwhile the price of steemit and hive has fallen about 20-40% depending on which day of that month you start from. Just looking at a rough estimate of where things were in May 2023, Blurt is very much holding it's own against our two main competitors and even outperforming them!

  • Five: Market Volume: When I joined Blurt about four years ago the volume was extremely low often between 50 and 200 USD per day between all exchanges. Now Between Hive-engine and Probit the volume consistently hits over 2,000 USD; a clear sign that the Blockchain is growing along with the user base.

For all these reasons I've decided to continue accumulating Blurt and supporting the blockchain and community in general. I've also canceled a total power-down and market dump from last year upon the arrival of @agorise in which I saw things begin to turn around rapidly. I've also decided to continue running a witness node and stay in a position of influence which I know is appreciated by many, and probably not at all by a few others.

All that being said I believe Blurt is progressing better than it has in it's entirety. @mariuszkarowski and @ctime remain as active powerhouse investors and curators of the platform and their support of quality posts and projects can not go unnoticed. Blurt is clearly the standout blockchain with major potential; while Steemit and Hive have had their day in the sun. Their roll over continues in user base, price, and volume and that too can not go unnoticed.

Down-vote free, clean, and corruption free, Blurt is the obvious choice for those seeking investment and participation in a crypto that has a high potential for exponential growth. Blurt is clearly the place to be!

What do you think of Blurt's current progress? Please let us know.

Thank you for taking the time,
