I joined a few upvote for upvote groups before I found steemit dreamit, and now I'm going to leave those groups. They were the only groups that came up in a steemit search on FB at first. Unfortunately there will always be users who only care about the get rich quick delusion. I'm here to make quality videos and recipe blogs and I'm only interested in associating people who truly like my content. I'm here for the long term. I want this site to grow. I don't want new users turned off with spam and scams. The best way is to ignore them. They're only interested in their own selfish interests and don't care if you succeed or not as long as they can cash out their 3 cents.
Yeah ignoring is an option. Unfortunately some don't take the hint and are stealing from the reward pool with this crap. I used to be in groups that were okay with upvote for upvote spam, etc . But now I'm only in three fb groups of which one is mine and these groups discourage the negative behaviours
