I'm not around that much either. I do try to post regularly but I don't spend any time commenting or engaging as I was in Slovakia with my family for 3 days, so I tried to spend more quality time with them. We are now at the airport waiting for our flight and I can't wait to be back in Switzerland. 3 weeks is such a long time and I need my routine back..

You should really come to Europe! And plan it for spring as it's the nicest time here :)

I wish that more people understood that it's the small things.. I think that it would be much nicer to live in this world...

I know that you enjoy nature as much as I do. And I agree with you. We should spend less time in the middle of a big city..

I will check your entry probably tomorrow, or as soon as I have a little more time online.

    Seriously, visiting places like your hometown are what would appeal the most to me. I loved your description of it and I am sure I would enjoy visiting it and experiencing firsthand what you have written about it.

    In my posts, I write about places "on the road less traveled", as these have always appealed to me.

    Hope you are enjoying being safely back home. You sound like me in that I really enjoyed my trip, but know that I am not a nomad at heart. I enjoy and am very much at peace with my simple life at home ...

      I would definitely be your guide :)

      I also enjoy visiting 'normal' places instead of the impersonal ones. Places where I know people and can connect with it much better and easier. It is always good to have a local guide :)

      I will check out your posts as I haven't done it for such a long time!

      Yes, thank you! I enjoy it very much. I do love traveling but being with my family is exhausting :) Don't know about your family, though :)

        ... as I can imagine most of us have our version more or less of the same thoughts about our families. 😘

        Here in America, we have a saying which covers this:

        "Can't live with them and can't live without them!"

        😏 We all, I'm sure, have our individual ways of dealing with this paradox.

        Overall, I try to be thankful for mine and accept them as they are, no matter what. Good intentions, but some days are better than others, as far as how successfully I live them out ... 😉
