I've been dreaming about this recipe ever since I read it! I love my slow cooker, too, especially in the summer when it keeps the temperature down in the kitchen. Sunday is my big cook-up day, too, I like to check what needs using up and prepare two or three dishes I can dip into through the week. I'm a great one for small taster plates, rather than a big main helping.
