Hello everyone I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your life Today I conducted my second class with my students where I focused on teaching them how to write and publish their Introduction Post in the Newcomers Community This class was very important because an introduction post is the first step for every new member on Steemit It allows them to present themselves to the community share their background and begin their journey here
I want to clarify that in this class I only taught them how to write the introduction post and publish it properly I did not yet teach them markdown formatting or styling that will come in the next classes

Brief Introduction of the Lesson

In this session I also gave them a quick orientation about the Newcomers Achievement Program which is necessary for new users to complete in order to get their Newcomers Certification

When someone joins Steemit they need to complete some important steps in the Newcomer Program to learn how the platform works and to build their profile These steps are simple but very important

1 Explore Steemit

This is the very first step New users should spend time browsing Steemit looking at different communities reading posts and learning how people are writing and engaging The purpose of this step is to understand the platform before posting anything By exploring you can

• See how others write introduction posts
• Learn about different communities
• Understand how voting commenting and tags work

2 Introduce Yourself

After exploring the next step is to write an introduction post in the Newcomers Community
In this post new users share

• Who they are name age professionstudent hobbies interests
• Where they are from countrycity
• Why they joined Steemit and what they want to share
• This post helps the Steemit community to know you better and welcome you

3 Welcome Others

Once you introduce yourself its time to engage with other newcomers
This means

• Reading the introduction posts of other new users
• Leaving a nice comment to welcome them
• Building friendly connections
• This step teaches newcomers that Steemit is not just for posting but also for interaction and community building

4 First Progress Report

After some time on Steemit newcomers should write their first progress report
This post includes

• What they have learned so far
• How many posts they made
• How many comments they gavereceived
• Their experience with the community
• Its like a short diary to show how they are learning and growing

5 Second Progress Report

This is a continuation of the first report It shows further growth and improvement
In this post new users share

• How their content has improved
• What new skills they learned maybe markdown better formatting using images etc
• Their overall experience and goals on Steemit
• This step is important to show that the user is active learning and committed to the platform

Preparing Play Cards

Before starting the practical work I gave a small activity

Each student was asked to write their username date and country on a paper
This was done so that they could later hold it for verification pictures
After writing each student took their own picture with the card using their mobile phone

This step is very important because an introduction post should include a verification picture to prove that the account belongs to a real person

How to Open the Newcomers Community

I also guided my students step by step on how to

Navigate to the Communities section
Search for Newcomers Community
Join the community
Open the option to make a new post inside the community

This was the first time most of them explored communities on Steemit so I made sure they understood it well

Writing the Introduction Post

After that I instructed them to write their Introduction Post inside the Newcomers Community

They included their basic details name country interests hobbies reason to join Steemit etc
They also added the verification picture with their username card
Since this was only their second class I asked them to write it without markdown or styling just plain text for practice

Learning About Tags

Once they finished writing I taught them the importance of using tags

I explained that tags help the post reach the right community and increase visibility
For now I guided them to use simple and relevant tags such as

She scored 1044 marks in Matric and 926 in FSC and is now studying Computer Science at Abasyn University. Along with academics she has experience in networking business and freelancinlig. She also worked as a Virtual Assistant learned Amazon FBA and is skilled in communication team building and digital marketing.	Link
3		Her name is Zainab. She is 21 years old from Peshawar and studying Psychology at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University. She is passionate about self-improvement business and learning human behavior. Currently she is learning digital marketing and working hard to achieve her dreams. Her goal is to become a successful businesswoman launch her own clothing brand support her parents and inspire others while staying true to her cultural and religious values.	Link
4		She is from Peshawar and currently studying in class 10. She belongs to a middle-class family with six sisters and no brothers and she dreams of achieving success to support her parents and siblings. She is learning digital marketing at Bano Qabil and is also a Youth Assembly MPA which has built her confidence in public speaking. She values family friendship and the support of her parents deeply. 5		Her name is Hina daughter of Khalid Khan. She is 20 years old from Peshawar and currently studying BS Economics in the 5th semester at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University. She is a Hafiz-ul-Qur’an an A+ grade student and had secured first position in her college. Along with her degree she is learning digital marketing e-commerce and IT skills. She dreams of becoming a CSP officer starting an online business and making a positive impact in society.	link
6		Her name is Sarosh Akbar a 17-year-old girl from Peshawar originally belonging to Azakhel Payan. She is studying FSC Pre-Medical at PMDC Jamil Chowk Ring Road and has always been a position holder with awards in science exhibitions. She is confident fluent in English and passionate about coding reading and business. Besides academics she is also a Flutter app developer learning digital marketing. Her biggest dream is to become a medical cadet and achieve independence.	Link
7		Her name is Eshal Safi the eldest child in her family from the Safi tribe. She lost her father at a young age and is inspired by her supportive mother. She is an O-Level student with a keen interest in Computer Science Physics and Mathematics. Her dream is to become an AI Engineer. Alongside academics she enjoys reading painting chess and sports. She is disciplined hardworking and committed to achieving her goals while valuing family and faith.	Link
8		Her name is Nimra Khan a 20-year-old from Peshawar belonging to the Pashtoon caste. She is studying BS Radiology in the 5th semester at Abasyn University. Along with academics she is a skilled Muay Thai player an orange belt in Shin Kyokushin karate and has been selected for the 7th National Muay Thai Championship 2025 in Lahore. She is also learning digital marketing e-commerce and graphic designing. Her dream is to become a successful skillful businesswoman and make her parents proud.	Link
9		Her name is Komal and she belongs to Dir a beautiful and peaceful place in Pakistan. She has completed her school education and also learned English and computer skills which boosted her confidence. She is married and blessed with a baby boy. Having lived in Saudi Arabia she gained new experiences and an open mind. She is ambitious hardworking and dreams of becoming a successful woman supporting her family and making them proud.	Link
10		Her name is Momina Mubeen a 19-year-old from Peshawar. She was raised by her mother who is her role model and best friend always supporting her dreams. Momina is a 12th-grade student with a passion for psychology as she loves understanding people and solving their problems. She enjoys painting drawing gardening cooking and photography. 11		Her name is Noor ul Ain a 22-year-old from Hayatabad Peshawar originally from Mardan. She is studying BS Radiology at Hadfa University and also learning e-commerce and digital marketing at Bano Qabil. Her mother a teacher is her role model. Noor’s dream is to become a successful doctor to support her family as she has only two sisters and no brother. She loves fashion designing videos cooking and aspires to make her family proud.	Link
12		Her name is Hina Imran. She is from Peshawar and has a strong passion for reading cooking traveling and teaching underprivileged students. She holds a Master’s degree and is currently studying IT with great dedication. Previously she worked as a teacher at Peshawar Model School and is also known for her excellent cooking skills. With the support of her family she now aims to build an online career and continue learning new things.	Link
13		Her name is Sundas Noor Yousafzai. She was born in Swat and now lives in Peshawar. She is studying in first year at Quaid-e-Azam College and loves English and Mathematics. Sundas is hardworking honest and kind-hearted with hobbies like reading sketching and spending time with family and friends. 14		Her name is Sehreen Javed. She is 19 years old belongs to the Marwat tribe and lives in Peshawar. She is a pre-medical student and a middle child in her family. Sehreen is extroverted hardworking and passionate about learning. She enjoys singing painting badminton cooking and spending time with her family and friends. 16		Rema Khan. She is 20 years old originally from Swat but now living in Peshawar for better education. She has completed her 1st year and dreams of becoming an MBBS doctor. Rema speaks fluent English enjoys reading books playing badminton and teaching students. She is also learning video editing at Banno Qabil. 17		Amina Ayaz. She belongs to Mardan KPK and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Abasyn University. With a strong passion for cybersecurity she has already completed certified courses and is now doing MCSE. Amina enjoys learning about human psychology counseling others and exploring new knowledge deeply. She has also been part of event management societies and loves sports like badminton and cricket. Her main goal is to build a career in cybersecurity.	link

This was the summary of my Second Class My main focus was on making sure the students understand the importance of a good introduction post and how to publish it properly in the Newcomers Community In the upcoming classes I will teach them how to post on steematlas and also Markdown styling images links formatting and other important rules to make their posts more attractive and professional.
