The first zucchini of 2025 - Die erste Zucchini 2025

Hello dear community,

The first zucchini of the year is currently growing on my plants.

That's not entirely true, there were actually two, but I didn't see them because of my injured foot. I wasn't in the garden very often.

Unfortunately, they weren't pollinated and so they stopped growing. I've started doing it myself now, taking a male flower and holding it against the female one.

I did the same with my cucumbers so that they would also grow. The first two are ready. I hope it worked and that I will be able to harvest my first cucumbers in about two weeks.

Hallo liebe Community,

hier wächst gerade die erste Zucchini dieses Jahr an meinen Pflanzen heran.

Das stimmt eigentlich nicht ganz, es waren schon zwei, aber die hatte ich wegen meines kapitten Fußes nicht gesehen. War da nicht so oft im Garten.

Leider wurden diese nicht befruchtet und dann wachsen diese nicht weiter. Ich mache das daher inzwischen schon selber und nehme eine männliche Blüte und halte es dann an die weibliche.

Das habe ich auch bei meinen Gurken gemacht, damit die auch was werden. Da sind auch die ersten zwei soweit. Hoffe das es geklappt hat und ich in ca. 2 Wochen meine ersten Gurken ernten kann.
