Well, I've spent most of what I could afford on cards so now I have to rank as high as I can to get those free booster packs at the end of the season. Currently at 2.9k, aiming at 3.7k+ for 20 packs :D
Did you take advantage of the kickstarter campaign? I bought the 200$ tier and already almost doubled my money. Spent 214 STEEM, Got back around 370 STEEM. I sold most of what i dont need and still kept 2 splinters for play.. And thats without the exclusive promo cards.
Im happy with the 4 packs ill get now. As much as i think Steemmonsters might have a great future, id rather have my money in STEEM then in cards.. But thats just me :D
Sadly, no. I missed it. Wanted to participate with 50$, didn't have it at the time so I forgot about it. WHen I did get the $$, kickstarter was over already.
I bought 150 packs at the beginning though. Way before, when they first announced the game.
Now I ony play one splinter and I'm trying to max it out, asap.
I completely understand where you are coming from on that. I too would rather have STEEM but still want my monsters leveled up for battle and rewards that follow a good season.
