I also miss the sun and and sun and sea, as I used to live five minutes away from a beach in Cali. But the man, I don't miss him.

nah, it's ok. It was the lesson I had been needing to learn my entire life: set boundaries and don't trust people instantly. Naivitie can have bad consequences as an adult.
