NEEDLEWORK: WIP WEDNESDAY

Hello everybody,

Today, am just sharing you
work-in-progress, my Umbrella
Cut Skirt.

Last #needleworkmonday I showed you that I started just below the navel part and the slanted fillet stitch. After Row 12, I changed color to purple from the natural or skin tone.
Here it is now:

after the purple color with same filet stitch but it did not slant anymore for I did not turn to the wrong side of my work. I just continued it on right side of my work.

As for now, I am happy with my progress for the slight wave is
coming out. I make this with no pattern, just by experienced and follow the increase principle.

Late afternoon today, as usual while at SuperMetro Mall specifically Metro Gourmet, our temporary office, hahaha...I was fed up with what I was making with one color, I dropped it and crocheted the triangle insert at the bottom of the skirt.

For weeks I searched for a triangle pattern from my cellphone gallery, Pinterest, YouTube, Crochet group post, Free pattern sites...oh oh, I haven't chose one, so, I came up with my simple triangle to follow the shape of my skirt...

I love, love the result though simple, just perfect shape.

Hoping to finish this as soon as possible then I can finalize writing pattern. I haven't video the rows it will just slow down my pace.
