It's only Friday and I'm done hunting for the weekend!
We woke up early and hit up a yard sale, but was pretty much a dud. So @brandyb drove me over to our favorite thrift store only to get distracted by a corporate garage sale held by a vintage store 1 block away from my house (that I didn't know existed).
Over half of the 162g of Sterling you see here was picked up at the vintage store and the rest of the gold and silver at the thrift store nearby. I spend $12 on "random jewelry grab bags" and pulled out 7.17g of 14K gold and the remaining Sterling silver.
Total spent: $40.00.
Total value of precious metals: $243.23
That's a pretty good morning spent doing something you enjoy, with the one you love, while supporting your local community. This Friday the 13th pretty damn good so far.
Even picked up these arrowheads and shark teeth from Venice, Florida that were included in price.

Thanks man... was a killer day. Some small gold earrings weren't included because when I got home and looked with my loupe, it said 14K GF. Oh well.
That happens sometimes. I've taken stuff home and later learned they were GF, it's all about learning, and remembering the Loupe!! I've also had it go the other way once, where I had a bag of some 10k and 14 k, and some that I was sure we're 1/20-14k marked so I bartered way down arguing that, and they turned out to be solid, cause I read it wrong. I try harder now to be correct, cause I felt bad later.
