[Last time...]
“Gettin' intae th' harbur is easy, its th' gettin' oot 'att is th' challenge!” Andofzara muttered to At-Elvis.
Suddenly, one of the boys, looking over Ickied’s shoulder watched with wide eyes as a small fire lit up the distant forecastle of the Silverton…
“Och Gawd! Sairrr, there's fire oan th' ship!" He yelled in a panicky voice.
“Stow yer thooghts loon an' pull! Pull!" Ickied commanded.

[In the longboats, a quarter mile off the shore of Aden…]
As the longboats swiftly made their way west across the ocean, and then north towards the Bay of Aden, they left the Silverton behind. Though now out of sight, the deafening booms of cannon fire and sharp cracks of muskets still shattered the silence of the night. There was no moon to shimmer upon the water’s surface, nothing to pierce the darkness at all as the eighteen brave warriors pulled fiercely towards their destination.
“Givs me yer aw men! We've got wee time afair th' first rays ay light!" Commander Galligan coaxed in a low voice as he carefully guided the first longboat around the western point of the harbor.
Seamen Filipino, Stokjockey, Sergino and Yehey pulled hard in the front two benches while Steemitag, Xyzashu, Pinoy and Curie worked their oars in the rear two. There was a solemn mood amongst the crew as the last view of their ship was one of fire and chaos.
“I dornt remembers reportin' fur thes duty! Arrrrgh!!!" Stokjockey whispered to Sergino.
“By th' looks ay th' Silverton mucker, it might be th' better duty tonight!" Sergino replied grimly.
In rear boat the mood was not much better as one of the boys had tears in his eyes from seeing the Silverton on fire and many wondered if there would even be a Silverton to return to.
“Sacre bleu!” Handofzara whispered to Fat-Elvis as she yanked on her oar, “Guid day! Who is in charge ay thes jobby shaw!”
Fat-Elvis turned to him with a surprised expression, “Ahh didnae knows ye was a Frenk hen?!"
“Ahh’m nae, but Ahh likes talkin' like one!"
Ickied stiffened at the rudder as he overheard the mutter…
“Ahh sure despise complainers! Especially when a' fowk is in th' sam situation! Suck it up an' dae yer job! If ye dornt shut yer mooths yoo'll baith be targit practice fur a crossbaw!" He warned.
[In the palace of Aden…]
The sudden explosions of distant cannons shook the bed of the Jinn! He open his eyes and pulled his face off of the warm, naked breast of his mistress. Shock and fear soon fell upon his mind as he sat up in bed and realized that the city was under full attack!
“Guards! Guards!” He yelled as he quickly jumped from bed and pulled his robe over his shoulders, “What is happening?!”
Two of the palace guards came running to the doorway of the private quarters…
“A warship is sailing a half mile south east of the coast my Lord! They are firing on us!”
“Blast that devil! And in the dark of night!” The Jinn cursed vehemently, “Have all the guns fire upon him! I want that ship sunk!”
“Yes, my Lord!”
By now the naked mistress was sitting up in bed, pulling the sheets up around her…
“Who is firing on Aden?!” She said with no small amount of anxiety.
“The focking Scottish devil, that’s who!!”

"A feckin' Scottish devil am Ahh?! Ahh'll shaw heem whit a devil is! Eh'd give my one guid yak tae rin heem thru myself!"
