The bot will be good for attracting posts to steemsilvergold which should benefit everyone in the community. Everyone who wants to take part should at least be upvoting the bots posts as it costs nothing and the least we can do. I would look at gold silver and bronze membership; gold gets 100% upvote, ie raybrockman, silver gets 50% and bronze gets 25% (10 steem a month buys in to bronze, 20 silver, 40 gold) You could have a basic buy in for 1 or 2 steem a month just to show some commitment which gets the member a 5%/10% vote otherwise its just a 3% just for being in the community.
And other things to consider is 8 steem a month gets a personal lease of 300 steem power worth about $0.03 upvoting your own post, give 10 steem to the bot and 25% gets you $0.33 and ive noticed new people upvoting before the bot does to join in on the curation the bot is bringing.
That's pretty cool that you noticed that about the votes for curation. I do think having botty around will bring more interest to the community, as long as it's more active members that will continue to support each other as well, it's not just about the give and take with botty, but everyone else as well.
I do like the idea of weighing the votes somehow it would just be a matter of determining the interest and all the appropriate levels.

Hey man, please let me know what you think of the amounts I came up with in my post today. It's probably way more complicated then I needs to be but that's my style, I love numbers and spreadsheets... lol.
Also I do also hope botty helps bring new users to steem and our steemsilvergold community.
