I was able to sneak away from the Summertooth family gathering for a bit yesterday and I made it to two coin shops!

The first one was "closed" for invintory but I rang the bell anyhow. The owner let me in and though most the metal was in the back, we did have a nice conversation and he pointed me the the nearest LCS that was opened on a Saturday, Liberty Coin.

They were wide open, and I was able to score a fix.

Four nines of Canadian luv.

Also picked up a half ounce of Americana.
20181007_064447.jpgJust look at Paul go! "Get off your asses colonists, or you'll be eating crumpets for breakfast!" is what I believe he was saying.

Lastly, something I have wanted to hold since I found out they existed, a US three cent coin! Aka, a trime.

I don't have my book with me but I believe this one was made of nickel. The government had to make nickel coins at the time as the 90% silver version was being hoarded by the public.

Y'arrrrrrrrrrr

Fine plunder!

This 3c is 75% copper and 25% nickel. It weights 1.94g. A simple and beautiful coin.

Thanks for the info @ronaldoavelino. I am always learning.

Another successful raid!

They didn't know what hit em!

☠️💀☠️

That is quite the “trime-fecta” of coiny goodness. 😁🤩 💰

Thank you, thank you very much.

Thanks for Sharing @summertooth I have not been into Liberty Coin physically but I have purchased many pieces from them over the Years Via the KINGS Internet.........

HUZZAH for the kings internet!

Nice finds, I wasn't aware of the 'trime', that's bizarre!

I just learned about it a couple of months ago @plaid. So weird. But a really ccol coin though.

Nice pick ups brother. Enjoy Cali...

Thanks man. Cheers. JPEG_20181006_165958.jpg
