Ahoy Me Hearties! — Ol’ Silverbeard Is Back!!! To wish ye a happy Pirate Sunday — Y’Arrr!

Pirate Sunday be a fine day for looting! And this drunk Captain had some scores to settle and a little pre-emptive skullduggery to employ. I slipped away from my shore family and climbed aboard the ”Vovo” — not exactly a corvette, but a fairly decent small craft suited better for early morning precision strikes than the looming hulk of the Ingot.

Into town went i, and to the Blockchain Gonkulator! I had some virtual pearls tucked into me compass that i had won at the Casinos of Babyleon and best thought i: to trade them for some fiat notes rather than cast them before the swine and rabble of Steemtowne. I recorded the improbable for posterity:

After the razzle-dazzle i headed to my lookout on the hill. It has fine vittels and affords a clear line of site to my first mark. Behold the scrumptious offerings i did entreat while me one good eye espied Van Gold. The burger cost me about 0.0011 of the magic-fairy sparkle pearls!

Complete with a couple life-rings and double cheese! As i put the Scarrrf on my burger I noticed many people going in and lining up in Van Gold, and when i peeked inside i was told it would be an hour... “Very fine Guvner” said i, as the rabble in line looked more like they be leaving theys treasure behind!

Off i went in search of a shiny new mark. I once again took me swagger to the Market of Fleas and ill repute, and tho i might’ve paid a couple dollars of Sunday primo, i did get some shiny lolly!

Back aboard me skiff i headed back towards Van Gold. But the sky went dark and strange clouds did appear from out of nowhere.

Followed by a rumbling and a concussive boom that could only portend — the Kracken!!!

Arrrrg! Savage leviathon have some mercy!!!

Kapow!!! Take that Beast!!!

Had i not been quick with my cutlass & musket i was sure a goner, dragged down by the ruthless tentacles to Davey Jones’ locker!!!

And then a hard rain did fall...

With one eye on the prize i steered clear of the storm and emerged unscathed from my frighful encounter, and behold! I was right back where i had started earlier this eventful day...and the sun did shine again!

The Ingot can always use a few more strike craft, so here was the purloinerie from the market: 4 x War Canoes (3 ‘57s and a ‘62).

With adrenlin pumping from the Kracken and fresh shiny in me vest i entered Van Gold: “knock thump, knock thump” went my stride as i leered a lecherous grin at the attendant and winked from behind me eye-patch! (So it looked like nothing at all 😜)

Minutes later i was back out in the Day of Sun. Counting me Lucky Charms and me new coins too. Well thar be an easy calculation — pieces of 8 and 8 pieces thar be!

The National bar i missed yesterday, 4 Mexicans, a fine version of the USS Constitution, a Pan-Am miner in snazzy sepia toning and an ASE for my sleeve — always good to have a few of these tricks tucked up there!

There was a puff of smoke, me last, and i was away on the radio waves and gonzo from that place of ironic deception — and the puff of smoke!

My final stop was at an apothecary where i did pick up some canon fodder. And i do expect to fodder a canon!

Now i sit in the local grog shop, restoring my version of sanity and my ability to think crookedly. With a combined haul of 10.2 oz’s, and a few grams.5 on top (✨😜✨) i feel like i’m ready for whatever comes out of the future for me — or rears its ugly head from the past!

I have one other bit of image thievin’ to show yas. I don’t think Ol’ Stackinbeard will mind. Afterall, it is his ship — and his monkey too!
