RE: Kind of Bummed. My LCS is closing...
No!!!! And the prices are just about to go up. If they can hold off for a little while longer, they'll be able to cash in on the crazy prices that will be coming soon.
I wish they were about to go up. Been saying that for many years. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if silver went below $10. If it makes sense....it probably won't happen. LOL
I've heard a number of people say that silver could go under $10. I think JPMorgan would need to switch back to a short position on silver before I believed that was going to happen. Last I heard, they had gone long. And the technical funds that bought the shorts from JP Morgan bought them because silver was below the averages of what they have been. The prices have been going up, so if they don't go down enough to keep the prices below the average, the technicals might start selling their shorts. That could lead to the price jumping!
All that being said, I would love to get silver for less than $10/ounce. I would be working on getting all the money I could and stock up on the shiny. 25 hour days of working, yep! Ha ha.
(Not investment advice)
Just when I've thought the price was going to spike because of a Death Cross, 50 DMA or 200 DMA, COT reports.....you name it. None of the fundamentals matter, no price analysis means anything and if you saw it on TV/YouTube or anywhere else on the web, it's wrong also. Been stacking for a long time and have watched this happen time and again. The price will go up eventually, but I don't think anyone can predict it.
I think you're right that none of us are going to be able to predict it. It's being manipulated so much that there's no way to tell which way it's going. Still, I am going to keep stacking. If it keeps going down, I'm going to keep getting increasingly cheap silver. :D
Same here. I've bought near $50 and under $10. As long as you are consistent, price doesn't matter. The part that makes me think it's going lower is seeing it on TV the other day. I don't watch TV but they had it on at work. I saw a buy Gold/Silver commercial. That tells me we are heading lower if I had to guess. Like the old saying "When your neighbor starts telling you about Gold and Silver, it's too late." :)
Ha ha, so you're thinking that because there are ads on tv that the price has topped out and is going down? I guess with most things that would be the case, but I feel like this is just the beginning of the prices going up.
I could be wrong though. Honestly, I would love to be wrong and see the prices drop back to $5. I wouldn't stop working to get money if silver was at $5/oz. Seriously. I would figure out how to work as much as possible and collect as much as I could. :D
