#ManDown is the label, and taking straps are his game. Errol Spence is the most soft spoken of champions, but he is also one of the most vicious and efficient finishers in the game. His body shots rip harder than any fighter in recent memory, and his durability and will are truly unmatched in his division.

Lamont Peterson is the upcoming opponent for The Truth, and although this isn't the super fight unification everyone had wanted, it is a solid fight that was available. Errol is a massive favorite in this one because of the size, strength and age aspects...but Lamont is always a dog in the ring and can't be underestimated.

A close fight to Danny Garcia left many believing Lamont was still a savvy veteran with a lot of fight in him...his current two fight win streak only adds to that belief. Gold medalist Felix Diaz was outworked and shown up by the cagier and more voluminous Lamont and that was a great win.

I look forward to seeing how an elite technician like Lamont handles the nonstop pressure of Errol. Spence can crack heavy blows as well, and each of his punches are truly capable of seizing consciousness...Kell Brook experienced first hand just how power Errol truly is.

We may be seeing the next great all time welterweight boxer. Errol is a lot like the middleweight legend in Marvelous Marvin Hagler as he plods forward without care of punches being thrown at him...and enters the fire with his own heat. He is wonder to watch, and made of something else besides flesh and bone.

This will be a pugilistic battle not between brawler and technician, but more between a technical power puncher and volume stylist. This will be quantity over quality, and the two energies in the ring will be seen very interacting with each other in awesome and strange ways.
