The leaf has lot of nutritional benefit when used in the rightful proportion and it has some certain effects when use abusively or excessively.

It's been a very long time I used the leaf because the one we planted in our compound was no more. It did not survive so it's been a really a long time I use. It is not seen in the market so you can never buy it in the market, you can only plant it and use it from your garden and this has been the reason I have not used it for very long time when I say a very long time it is indeed 2 years or more.

Like I said they live can be very very poisonous or when I say toxic but it depends on the usage. And also it is very very nutritious and it has a lot of good health benefits.

One of the benefits of this leaf is that it helps in posting blood production and circulation in the body. It helps in regulating blood level in the body, helps in digestion and eye sight.

I have really known it for boasting blood production as it has a good source of vitamins A, C, folate and iron so with this good content of it it can fight anaemia to the highest degree.

Traditionally I have personally witnessed how they live is used for wound dressing and it fight skin infection. So it is used in moderation to avoid being affected by the toxicity of it.

So I used it in preparing my porridge yam, it usually have a sweet sugary taste when used to cook food.
