Behind the scenes:My pharmaceutical lab experiences

2nd year of Doctor of pharmacy has been passed successfully Alhamdulillah!

My 4th semester experiences of practical pharma labs were enriching where we all fellows were exposed to different hands on practices and techniques by using different instruments including test tubes, machines etc.We learned basics of drug formulations in this year with proper experimentations.

Let's have a look at some of pharmaceutical lab experiences through the following clips!

• In a clip we are experimenting with fungi by staining it different stains and how it looks with a more resolution I am showing you in clip.
• In another clip we are experimenting with our blood by taking it out with a syringe and adding it in a test tube and here we learned how to perform complete blood count test.
• In lab when teacher was late then I was reading a book written by Colleen Hoover and the book was It starts with us.It's quite interesting and I recommend it you all to give it a read atleast.
• In another clip we give anesthesia to a frog by using chloroform and then we performed frog dissection practical.It was a fun time when we all especially girls were feeling afraid to touch the frog.
• At last in a clip you can see a machine which is compression machine used for making tablets where we just add powered form of medicine in machine and you can see how this machine is enclosing that powder in form of tablet.
