하루가 얼마나 소중한지요
긴 인생에 하루가 모자라
삶을 이어가지 못하는
우리들 곁에 머물지 못하는 사람들
셀 수 없이 많은 날들
그 많은 날 중의 하나가 아닌
하루살이에게는 평생이지요
간절했던 하루
붙잡지 못한 하루가
영원히 미래를 가질 수 없는
이유가 됩니다

하루는 영원보다 긴 것
새벽 여명과
아침 일출과
저녁 노을과
밤하늘의 별을 바라볼 수 있네
꽃들과
나무와
새들과
웃고 우는 사람들에게
다정한 인사를 건넬 수 있네
인생은 덧없다 말하지만
하루는 보석보다 눈부신 것
