Cymbopogon Malabar Grass 🌱
It’s also known as lemongrass, barbed wire grass, silky heads, Cochin grass, Malabar grass, oily heads, citronella grass or fever grass, is a genus of Asian, African, Australian, and tropical island plants in the grass family of Poaceae. They are commonly cultivated as culinary & medicinal herbs because of their scent, resembling that of lemons. The plant is used as a fragrance and flavoring agent and in folk medicine as an antispasmodic, hypotensive, anticonvulsant, analgesic, antiemetic, also contains fungicide properties, which can help to combat Candida albicans, which is a type of fungus that is responsible for vaginal yeast infections and oral thrush. In addition, lemongrass can help to aid the treatment of other types of fungal infections, like mycosis & athlete's foot.
