• Take It Outside! – The Fallen Are Rising (Street Art) •

In 2012, after nearly twenty years away, I found myself back in Tel Aviv, wandering streets that once felt like home but now seemed strangely quiet. The walls weren’t speaking. The street art I hoped to see just wasn’t there. I talked about it too much, maybe. So I shut up—and got to work.

That’s when I dove headfirst into wheatpaste. Painting late into the night, cutting, gluing, and stepping back out into the dark with a bag full of prints and a heart full of fire. The city became my playground again, as an artist, as a skater, as someone hungry for something real. It was messy and loud and beautiful. It pulled me out of the screen-world and back into my body, my breath, the wall. It felt like coming back from the dead.

There’s magic in reclaiming space, in turning stillness into voice. And I needed that voice badly back then.

Each piece was hand-painted, carved with hours, glued with love and defiance. Some lasted weeks. Others didn’t survive till sunrise.

And no, please don’t call the cops. Let’s keep this between us.
