This food is a popular food specially eaten by the Igbos and some of the Ibibos, lately it's no longer food for the just mentioned tribes rather it has gone wide, because of it natural taste and nutrients. This food is produced from cassava while the sauce is made from banga.(Palm fruits). Other ingredients includes onions, pepper, fish or cow skin, Stockfish and other preferred items.

The price ranges from 500 Naria to 2500 depending on the makeup. Is approximately 2.5 steem- 12.5steem.

I like eating it and I ate it again today watch the video below 👇.

What did you learn about the shopkeeper's struggle?

mama Ada

Mama ADA is the Abacha seller who hails from Enugu state but lives here in Uyo Akwaibom state with her family, she sells Abacha for a living and she has trained her children successfully with the profits she makes daily from her market.
From my chat with her she said she has been in this business for more than 10years and she carries Abacha worth 20 Thousand Naria (100steem)everyday on the street, and as God may have it she have never go back home without finishing the food .

I saw a woman who is hardworking and consistent in what she is doing, she is so cheerful and one amazing thing about her is her straightforwardness in dealing with her customers. She has not borrowed to do her business as such she frowns at debtors.

  • I learned packaging .
  • Consistency
  • Neatness

Her utensils are well kept.

Hi, @okere-blessing,

Thank you for your interest in Steem Atlas, and for sharing your posts here.

I have a few questions.

1. Are all the images and details from a single place?
2. Is this place permanent in the location?

Thank you!
Best Regards!

Yes they are all street food sold in the street. Which is called big junction.

The sellers lined up same place along the street.

@okere-blessing you have taken your time to go through the streets and to promote these street food businesses. Yes, in our streets are found roasted chicken, food vendors and so on. Watching your video, I feel like coming over to eat that abacha with you. Do you even know how I crave for it? The last time I ate it was when I visited my hometown when our first daughter prepared it for us.

That abacha woman is truly a very hardworking woman. Do you know what it feels like to hawk? I did it when I was in Lagos, it is no small journey. You will have to cover miles most times to be able to sell all your goods completely.

Yea, they don't deserve to be owed a bit and little wonder she frowns at it.

The lessons are obvious! Consistency is one of the qualities that makes them to have known customers who patronise them from time to time. Thank you for the invite, I will try to make my own entry.

Yeah I can agree with you. Hawking is not easy, this woman is so consistent both in the rain and sun she is seen selling her market. Don't worry when you travel back to Aba you will eat enough of it. Thanks for your feedback I'm expecting your entry
