RE: Squeezing one of the tallest buildings in the world with an ultrawide lens.

"Government trip"! LOL. But traveling with school kids in another country is a humongous responsibility. My wife went to Thailand and Venezuela and she barely slept as she was on call 24 hours.

DC and NYC sounds like an amazing trip! That's perhaps the most walking necessary trip I've ever heard of. There's a lot of ground to cover in DC. At least in NYC there is more transportation.

No worries about the long comment. I appreciate you taking the time as and your support. It's what makes Steemit fun!

DC we did a lot of walking around the mall at the monuments and the Wall. NYC we didn't do much walking at all. We had a private chartered motor coach and they'd pull up to where we were going and let us off. Most unusual moment I can remember is leaving NBC Studios but instead of going outside we went underground. There was a McDonalds and all these other shops all under the ground. I remember thinking how crazy it was that there was literally a city under a city. Being from Grundy County, Tennessee where it's all woods, farms, fields, etc. it amazed me at the "City Life". When I was young I thought one day I'd move there but now that I've got older I wouldn't trade these fields and farms for it. I would like to go back and visit though. I'm sure the experience would be much different now that I'm an adult.
