50 students of Meghalaya Elephabhanga Secondary School have left the hospital with unconscious treatment
Meherpur office: About fifty-five students of Hathibanga Secondary School in Meherpur Sadar upazila have been admitted to Meherpur General Hospital. On Tuesday, around 10am, there was a case of sickness during the school assembly. In the meantime, some others were ill and sent to their homes with primary treatment. On the way home, almost 50 students became ill on one side. They were quickly taken to hospital with ambulance and various transport. All the students from the sixth to tenth grade of the victims.
Shibikul Islam, headmaster of Elephantha Secondary School, said the beginning of the incident at the beginning of the school during the assembly. Soon after that, the students started a little bit of the toes. The situation was declared normal school holidays. Students stay at home. After the news came to the notice of the house, some other students were heading after going to the house. Arrangements were made to take them to hospital quickly.
Suraiya Akhter Khushi, a ninth-grade student, who was undergoing treatment at the hospital, said that after 10th grade student Boishakhi Akhter, her head went around. When I was leaving the school, I was stuck in the head as well as breathing in my head. At one stage he became unconscious.
Meherpur Hospital Medical Officer Dr Mizanur Rahman said, so far half of the students have been given primary treatment. It is a disease called genomic ailments. If one person is infected, the other side also spread quickly. The medical officer, however, claimed that there was nothing to be scared about. He said that through counseling this disease can easily be prevented.
Meanwhile, till last news, the headmaster Shafiqul Islam said that before the evening, all the students have returned home and they are healthy now.
