Sun Thursday: Sunset over the Aamsveen
I have no recent sun photos at the moment, so here are some old favourites of mine.
Sunset over the Aamsveen:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 28mm, ISO200, f4, 1/25s
Dito in winter:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 50mm, ISO100, f8, 1/125s
Sunset panorama of the Aamsveen in winter:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 28mm, ISO100, f8, 1/200s, some stitching
Panorama of the Aamsveen on a sunny day, in last light:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 28mm, ISO100, f8, 1/250s, some stitching
The panoramas will look very small in the interface, you may want to open them in a separate window.
Thanks for watching!
Love to see my country on this platform! Beautiful pictures.
I didn't know anything about this "Aamsveen" place of which you blog.
It looks beautiful, btw.
Question: Do you know anything about this haunted folklore related to it?
The "supernatural hare" sounds fascinating. 🤔
I have heard the stories, but I know little about the folklore. I did study the smuggling that went on there, though. The peat bog spans the German border, and if you know what you are doing, it is easy to cross the border unnoticed.
Interesting. Ich spreche Deutsch (a very little) from highschool and some college. Sounds like a good place to visit.
prachtig!
Nice photos!
I like the first photo, looks amazing :)
I am in love with the sky, its movement and the different faces she wears. the first shot looks like it is running right towards me.
Nice shots.
