10,000 km Across Africa – Part 1: From Moshi to Namibia
After the New Year, I began an overland journey across Africa that would take me more than 10,000 kilometers through diverse landscapes and unforgettable encounters.

This is Part 1 of that adventure, covering the stretch from Moshi in Tanzania all the way to Namibia.
My route led through Dodoma and Mbeya, before crossing the border into Zambia at Tunduma/Nakonde. I then continued south to Lusaka, visited the incredible Victoria Falls, and carried on through Botswana into Namibia.
I traveled by any means possible: train, bus, minibus, hitchhiking, tuk-tuk, motorbike, and on foot. Each mode of transport brought new experiences and connections.
The landscapes shifted constantly — from green mountains to dry plains — and so did the rhythm of life. Every place had its own pace, stories, and warmth.
Part 2 of the journey — from the Namibian coast to Malawi — is coming soon!
