Newly Opened Shakey's Pizza Parlor at Surigao Gaisano Branch
Hello itinerants all over the world and steem community! It's another week which means another weekly food choice! In today's content I am bringing you to a newly opened pizza parlor here in our hometown, Surigao City.
Another food stop has been added in a few choices that Surigao City has. One of the prime pizza parlors in the country will finally cater our dearest Surigaonons. They actually had their soft opening last June 28, 2019. And I am finally trying it and gladly with all of you guys. Let's see what they have to offer!
If you happen to have a side trip to Surigao, you may wanna grab some bite here at Shakey's. It situated in Gaisano Capital Surigao at Km.4 Barangay Luna, AH26, Surigao City. This is pretty accessible from ports to terminal vice versa. You can ride any vehicles with an R1 route (from port to terminal and vice versa.) It's surely visible because you can sight it right away at the ground floor entrance area of the mall.
As of these days, it's often crowded specially on weekends since they have just opened but gladly we were able to take photos in the late afternoon. The place is actually spacious however it's just very uncomfortable to dine around almost noon up until afternoon because of the direct sunlight coming in the store. We had to move three times to different seats because we were basked under the sun near the window because they only had limited banners to cover up the window. I am only saying that it's not a good idea to sit near the window during these hours anyways you are lucky if there are available seats from the other corner anyways. The store is fully airconditioned however sometimes doesn't suffice specially if there's a lot of customers. I commend them for having it cleaned and organized every after the customer finishes the meal.
WHAT WE GOT?
We got the Hand Tossed Shakey's special pizza which costs 349.00 pesos (almost 7.00 US Dollars) which is already good for 2-3 persons. As for me, 2 slices are already enough to satisfy my stomach. I can really tell it's actually good for 3--4 persons since the crust is thick which makes you full easily. The Shakey's special pizza contains Beef, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Bell Pepper, Salami, Onions and Mushrooms.
You can also have photo souvenir taken in this cool wall which the shakey's logo. Aside from that the place is also well lit and it has a TV screen in the corner to entertain customers. I commend them for a well organized store. I honestly like the service for the staffs who assisted us were very kind and accommodating. She was the one who saved us from being roasted by the sun somewhere in the window seats and looked for a more comfortable ones for us. And I am not sure if the one who was actively doing the operation was the manager but he is very kind to the customers and really made sure that everyone feels comfortable and having an enjoyable experience. I will definitely come back and dine with my family next time.
