The dim sum menu looks delicious, I probably would have tried those :) It's a slightly strange menu, though ... foie gras and truffles?
It drives me bonkers when they do that thing with the crap table ... I was offered the same tiny table in a corridor twice in a hotel restaurant once, when the restaurant was barely half full. To make it worse, it was the same person each time! I did say to her, I turned that table down yesterday, why would I sit there today? I usually just tell them no and point to where I do want to sit. I also refuse to pay service charges on bills. If the bill arrives with it included, I ask for it to be removed. If the service has been good, I'll leave a tip. Tsk!
