Installation of Umbul-Umbul at School

Hello, my happy Steemit friends. Today, I would like to share an important activity I did with the students at school to commemorate Independence Day, namely putting up banners at the school. Flags are long banners that hang from the top to the bottom of poles planted around the school fence and grounds. These flags are installed to make the school environment more festive and elegant. I, the teachers, and the students all worked together to install the flags, from the process of obtaining the poles, installing the flags, to planting them into the ground.

Preparation for Umbul-Umbul

The materials needed to set up the umbul-umbul were brought out by the teachers and students. These included wooden poles and colorful flags. After the materials were brought out, the teachers divided the students into small groups so that the process could proceed quickly and orderly. Around 50 umbul-umbul were set up. The school atmosphere was very lively.

The materials were ready and the working groups had been divided up, so the students immediately set to work together to put up the banners. The students were very enthusiastic about tying these flags. Their enthusiasm continued to burn brightly because the school also held many competitions.

After being tied, the colorful flags and poles were placed one by one in separate places. About 10 poles have been completed, although many are still being worked on by the students.

Some of the umbul-umbul stacks that were ready were also placed on trees near the students' workspace. There were more umbul-umbul in this stack than in other places because it was installed on the school fence.
