"Life After School?"

Hello everyone, good morning to you all and welcome back to my blog. Life after School can be so frustrating, at that point in your life, you feel like a Stranger in a strange Land.

How will your life after school be or has been?

Seriously life after School is not easy at all. Being a new Graduate in my Country Nigeria is like a Curse. Firstly your parents will stop giving you money and they would even expect you to start sending money home. Secondly, all the Aunties and Uncles that usually give you small money while you were still in School stops giving you and they even expect you to give them something. At this stage of life you will try several things, provided you were told that you can make something from it which at the end leaves you frustrated and angry.

Do you think education is a scam? Choose between yes, no, yes and no and explain.

No Education is not a Scam. Despite the Economic state of my Country Nigeria where getting employed is a hard nut to crack, being Educated gives you an edge over an uneducated person. So many people have lost so many international jobs and opportunity because they didn't go to School. For instance, in my Country we're in Japa era, whereby everybody is relocating Abroad for greener pasture and Study route is the easiest way to travel out. So if aren't educated, it will be quite difficult for you to travel.

Will you blame the government for not getting employed as a graduate?

Of course I will blame the Government for lack of unemployment in the Country. They amass the money kept for building Industries and Employing the Youth. A single Senator in Nigeria earns the amount of money that would be enough to cater for 1000 persons alone and this makes the Economy State of Nigeria to keep deteriorating.

What do you think one should do after obtaining a degree without a job? business, learn a soft skill. Share with us these skills and businesses?

Everything depends on what you're capable of doing. If you get a good paying job, you're good to go, if not you can venture into business or soft skills.

Learning a soft skill is the best way forward. In the World of today where Social Media has been the source of income to many people. Some of these soft skills includes the following.

• Content writing
  If you're good with words, you can choose a niche in Medical, Lifestyle, Health, Fashion Content Writing. You can generate income from it by writing for blogs, websites or Companies and getting paid.

• Photography
  In the World of Social Media where people take pictures for various purposes, from Wedding to Anniversary to Birthday, You can make a lot of money from Photography if you're good at what you do.

• Video production
  You can equally create videos like promotional videos, Event Coverage for Clients and get paid for it.

• Selling Digital products
  You can write an ebook, software or Course and sell it online and make money from it.

Do you think steemit can reduce the number of unemployed graduates in your country, how?

Yes, Steemit is a wonderful Platform in which you write and make money If you're willing to put in the work. Steemit has made lots of people gainfully employed and Millionaires.

As a student, if you had an opportunity to invest, what area do you think you should invest in?

I would invest in Crypto. Crypto has been a source of income to several people.
