Follow-up Of Charity Work of HS Batch 76 For Heart Patient

In my last post about my HS Batch giving donation to a young boy needing a 2nd heart operation this year. The father makes heart shaped piggy banks selling them for 250 pesos.

We passed the piggy bank around and we all placed donations inside. We decided to return the banks to the family with the money collected.

So early this morning 3 of my classmates (we call them 3 of a kind because they are always together and helping) went to the house of the family to turn them over, 2 piggy banks.

This is the father who made the coin banks with his wife.

He slowly chipped off a portion because he said since he was the one who made them, he will repair them and return to my classmates. Maybe we can collect again.

We were able to collect 9,505.25 pesos total. The family was so happy. #teardrops for their son Allen Llarenas 2nd heart surgery scheduled this year. The family was so grateful because this was a big amount to add to their savings.

I could not transfer to YouTube so I decide to post the link to the video. It is partly in English and in Ilonggo my native dialect. He was thanking our batch and blessing us.
