The Ark would have to go to a full stop before sending the probes. Otherwise, inertia could have thrown them through the Solar system and out of it in no time. ))) That, of course, is but a silly technicality.
I liked your overall position. Human civilization self-destructed itself, which is a fair assumption. We all hoping this wouldn't happen, but it just might.

Thank you! Don't take me wrong. There are lots of things that I enjoy about your writing. Your stories are well thought out and organized. You use some great expressions; each at their proper place and paced just right.
