The nice man in the shop said he uses the Elixir. If these are the same as the ones I bought there last time, they are very good and do last a lot longer than the Martins.
Also bought some 'Alice' picks, as the apparently the Chord anti-slip picks are no longer made.
10s are pretty light for an acoustic. I've used the Elixir electric strings. I change mine very rarely
Bit pricey, but we'll see. The 10s are for the hardboard guitar and the Yamaha, the 12s for the Takemine.
