That's definitely news to me and I am from Philly. I would've thought that would have at least been on some of the morning news shows that I flip through as I get ready for work. I guess we will see how this one works out. I hardly remember or don't even remember there being a "Slapshot" mascot. Maybe they didn't use him too effectively? We shall see. I go to many Flyers games during the season myself.
